Extended version of Disney!

Life got way too busy for me. I haven't updated since the beginning of November. After Christmas, we celebrated Victor's 30th birthday. Brady the fire lover, was enthralled to see a candle lit on yummy cake.

"fiiiire"
He sure does love his sweets!

A week after Victor's birthday, we headed on over to Disney World. While driving on the highway, I see a sign for Gainesville's exit. I knew my brother was in Gainesville for the week, but I didn't realize I drove directly past their exit. I quickly called him, and we met up for a quick hello! He hasn't seen Brady since the beginning of July. Brady thinks Geoff is a funny guy. He enjoyed sharing his "candy cane" with his Uncle Geoff.
Unfortunately, we were only able to say, "hi" for 10 minutes or so. As my u-turn on the highways added another 20ish minutes. And we were cutting it close for Brady's packet pickup for his FIRST race. Below is a photo of him and Victor at the suite we stayed at before we headed out for the race. I had it planned so he would wear Disney's Cars shirt for his run. He also wore Disney's Cars shoes. I thought it would be cute cause Cars is about a race car.
Unfortunately, it got warm quickly. I should have put him in a tee-shirt!
Wandering around the race track wearing his Disney Kids' Race Ears!

Poor baby boy looks hot! But cute! We hung out in the very back of the race track, by the shade haha.

I was breaking a sweat, and I was wearing a halter top and shorts!!! Here we are lining up at the race start!!
Here he is starting the race. **I apologize for my bra being shown in a bunch of photos** bending over all of the time and having my attention on the little guy, there are quite a few photos that show too much!

For those of you asking how he did... bahahahaha. Look behind him. He walked the whole way. I picked him up to run a bit too.

This is him seeing Mickey Mouse for the very first time (a moving giant mickey that is...). He was beyond thrilled to see Mickey.

My race wasn't very great either. I unfortunately didn't close my eyes even for a minute the entire night. And it probably didn't help that I didn't sleep much the week leading up to it either. I was very tired at the race start. I had to get up around 2AM to get ready and get to the frontish area of my corral. Which is like 1AM in my time zone that I live. I don't even think about going to sleep until that time! haha. but i tried to fall asleep starting at 930 and I just stared at the ceiling the entire night... tossing and turning. It was a hot day too. I saw it said 80 some degrees... with high humidity. :(  I know I shouldn't "try" to PR at a Disney race... I know there are a lot of people and on narrow park paths... but I had done two 20 mile runs under a 3:10 pace (one at like a 3:02 overall time...) so I just thought with the crowd momentum I would be able to PR. Around mile 5, my body just started cramping up (probably from my lack of sleep.) And I just knew it was over. I finished 38 minutes slower than I was hoping for... ugh... next time.
Putting ice on my next... victor's first words once again were... "it is so hot out here..." I didn't even have the energy to physically respond to him.

My little champ. He so wanted to sit on my lap... and I was so soaked with sweat haha when he stood up his butt was soaked.

Ignore my pants... I had to run to the porto pottie after the race. I actually had to use them during the race too... I am sure my trips to the lovely porto pottie during the race didn't help my time out either. I actually have never had to use one during a full marathon before... this was my first.

The view of our backyard, where we stayed, during the race.

Seeing Pluto for the first time.
When he would get excited, he would shove his hand in his mouth. I was constantly ripping it out.

His first ride at the Magic Kingdom was the It's a Small World After All
Even eating lunch was exciting for him...

Ariel's grotto, was the only real line we had (around 40 minutes)... luckily most of the rides, we just walked right on... the other lines had an average of about 10-15 minute wait for our longest lines...

Brady most certainly knows who Winnie the Pooh Bear is... was pointing at Pooh and saying, "pooooh" And pointing at tigger and saying tiger! so cute! This ride had a lot of activities for younger ones to play with in line... I almost have to say the line went too fast haha there wasn't much time to play!

We got rid of a bunch of energy that was being built up at Dumbo's play area...

Clapping his hands during a show...

That is a 3 year old gorilla climbing and playing... he was such a trouble maker with the others. I loved watching him play!

He is waving and yelling, "bye bye" to everything...

He got so much attention during the parades...
He wore his race shirt that day... and the people in the parade... this is how the conversation went: people in the parade: ohh, did you run the race.. me: yessss, he did. people in the parade: did you run fast?  me: noooooo. below is a picture of them cracking up

his little hand waving at donald duck...

Kisses! He was so good about kissing all of the Disney characters!

In Norway, I am not a fan of Norweigen trolls.

Getting ready to bust loose in Morocco. He was making everyone laugh and point at him. He was in the middle of about 100 people just dancing.

Sticking his hand in his mouth makes the shark say something... it would startle him every time haha

A visitor by our hotel stairs....

Leaning in for a hug...

Brady is asleep... haha a cute photo ruined by the dang sun!

Anytime we left the characters, he was so sweet saying, "bye bye." Loved it!

Jake... yup, i know him...
Handy Manny... yes, I know who that is...

He would get so excited when the show would light up with FIRRRRE!

Our view from where we ate dinner in Mexico! Awesomeness!

He thought Peter Pan was a hoot!

This is how I carried him around in line... or in naps... and it was fantastic!!! I love love love my ergo.

Watching the fireworks... until next time disney!
